A laser with a 755nm wavelength that is strongly absorbed by melanin, destroying hair follicles for permanent hair removal. In picosecond mode, it is also used to treat pigmented lesions.

Contraindications
- Pregnancy
- dark skin tones (Fitzpatrick V–VI — risk of burns)
- recent tanning
- photosensitizing medication
- active infection
