This is the third most densely populated area for clinics.
Cheongdam-dong — 32 clinics, 12 board-certified specialists
The ratio of board-certified specialists to the number of clinics is 37.5%, which is higher than in Sinsa-dong, Yeoksam-dong, and Nonhyeon-dong.
Daechi-dong — 18 clinics, 11 board-certified specialists
Although the number of clinics is small, the ratio of board-certified specialists is 61.1%, the highest in Gangnam-gu. It is understood that the demand for specialized medical care is high due to the nature of the commercial district centered around private academies (hagwons).
Dogok-dong — 12 clinics, 13 board-certified specialists
With 13 board-certified specialists working across 12 clinics, the density of specialists per clinic is the highest in Gangnam-gu. This indicates that there are several clinics where multiple board-certified specialists are employed.
Samseong-dong — 14 clinics, 4 board-certified specialists
Located in the business district near COEX.
Gaepo-dong — 2 clinics, 8 board-certified specialists
The number of clinics is small, but the number of board-certified specialists is high, resulting in a high density of specialists.
Suseo-dong, Irwon-dong, Segok-dong
With 1–2 clinics each, these areas are on the outskirts of Gangnam-gu and have a low number of clinics.

Clinics opened over a 40-year period from 1986 to 2026 coexist. Some have been in operation since the early stages of Gangnam's development.
Mostly Single-Doctor Systems
Dividing the total number of 392 doctors by 370 clinics results in an average of 1.06 doctors per clinic. The majority are small-scale, single-doctor clinics.
Specialists Concentrated in Sinsa-dong, Yeoksam-dong, and Nonhyeon-dong
Out of 118 board-certified specialists, 69 (58.5%) are concentrated in these three neighborhoods. Based on accessibility to specialists, these three areas are the hubs within Gangnam-gu.

There are 2,093 active dermatology clinics nationwide (as of March 2026, according to HIRA).
