Cryolipolysis developed by Harvard Medical School researchers. It utilizes the fact that fat cells are more sensitive to low temperatures (-11°C) than muscles or nerves to selectively crystallize and destroy fat cells, which are then naturally eliminated through the lymphatic system. FDA-approved.
Indications
Localized subcutaneous fat in areas such as the abdomenflanksthighsdouble chinbackand arms. Intended for localized fat correction in individuals with a BMI of 30 or less.
Contraindications
- Cryoglobulinemia
- cold urticaria
- Raynaud's syndrome
- pregnant women
- active skin lesions
- excessive obesity based on BMI (limited effectiveness)
